Back to basics. Well, oil on canvas from today’s LD. The model showed up with a crazy hairdo, wedding dress wrapped with a black corset. I loved the idea. Such a challenge. I am not sure how the other artists feel , but I love those weird dresses, hair style and anything unusual.Painting the same old poses over and over in the old renaissance fashion, usually gets me out of my skin. Thank you Tracy for the great idea!!I took couple of pictures of the same model and I am planning on doing series of 3 paintings…not sure if they all going to be in oil, but I will do at least one digital , so my graphic tablet won’t get too rusty.So , I named it Dark Ofelia.
