this sketch study is based on a scenery from the movie The Mill and The Cross . The movie itself represents a short story line about Pieter Bruegel, a well known Flemish Renascence painter, famous with his figurine and landscape compositions. In controversy , I almost omitted the background completely and gave a dark light on the face.
